Q. & A. with Angie

  • Why did you start breeding?

My mother bred Chow-Chows and German Shepherds so breeding has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. My knowledge of dogs goes way back and my love for them goes even further!
  • What makes your program special?

We take great care planning each litter to ensure we are producing puppies that are excellent representations of the breed. We are careful to always have ethical breeding practices. This includes proper health testing, intentional breeding for specific traits, and raising our puppies with proper socialization.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies include red, sable, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Finding a reputable breeder for our new best friend was extremely important to us. We wanted to make sure that our puppy had the best start in life, and there is no doubt in my mind that Angie and her program give all their puppies just that. We don't live anywhere near Angie, but she helped make the entire process of picking a puppy and arranging transport so easy. Our girl has been so great from day one and I know that was helped so much by the hard work Angie put in from the time she was born until she came home. We are so grateful and will definitely be back when we're ready for another dog!

Bella is 13 months old and is doing great. She loves people and is well socialized with other dogs. She is very intelligent, playful, is doing great in obedience class and we're looking forward to agility training. We had her spayed when she was 7 months old. She just had her 1-year exam and is in excellent health. Our experience with Angie was very good. I'd buy a corgi from her again. I especially appreciate genetic testing documentation for the dame and sire she willingly shared.

It was really important for me to find a reputable breeder who does health testing and truly cares about the breed. I’m so happy I found Angie/Blue Moon Farms. I’m convinced I have the best corgi in the world. So much personality and she is both healthy and beautiful in every way. Angie also stays in touch, keeping a community where we can all see how the other dogs are doing. Whenever I’ve had a question about Piper’s development, she’s been quick to answer and offer resources. It’s so important to make sure to support reputable breeders and when we are ready to get a second dog, we will definitely come back.
