Meet the breeder

I'm Isabella V., the breeder behind Heavenly Puppies to Love located in Deming, WA. I strive for the best quality in my puppies, giving them all the care, patience and love that they need. Q. & A. with Isabella

  • Why did you start breeding?

My journey with dogs started long before I ever became a breeder. As a kid, my brother and I begged for a dog, and after proving we were responsible, my mom welcomed our first Standard and Toy Poodles. That’s when my love for dogs truly began especially for Standard Poodles, a breed that will always have a special place in my heart. Over the years my love for dogs grew. My first Cocker Spaniel Lady, a gift from my mom, became my responsibility, and she sparked my passion for Cockapoos. From there I fell in love with Cockapoos, and eventually Cavapoos became my focus also. In the beginning of COVID, I officially started my own breeding program, but my journey started long before that. With over a decade of experience and 6ish years running my own program, I’ve dedicated my life to raising healthy, loving, and well-socialized puppies. Beyond breeding, I’ve always had a deep love for rescue dogs. We’ve rescued dogs over the years, and it’s something I hold close to my heart. One day, I hope to get back into rescuing and possibly fostering dogs again. And while Cockapoos and Cavapoos are my focus right now, I know that one day I’ll return to my roots and start breeding Standard Poodles again, because that’s where my love and passion truly began. This journey has been incredible, and I’m so grateful for every moment of it.
  • What makes your program special?

My breeding program is built on love, dedication, and a deep passion for raising incredible dogs. From the moment they’re born, my puppies are raised with care, socialization, and the highest standards to ensure they grow into happy, well-adjusted companions. Standard Poodles have stolen my heart, and I also have a deep love for Cavapoos and Cockapoos. My dogs have truly saved my life—they have given me love, purpose, and so much joy. They’ve done more for me than I could ever put into words, and that’s why this journey means so much. One day, I’d love to get back into breeding purebred Standard Poodles, as they were where my passion for dogs truly began. Every puppy that leaves my home takes a piece of my heart with them, and knowing they’ll bring joy to their new families is what makes this journey so rewarding. Through it all, my faith has guided me, and I know this journey wouldn’t be possible without God. ‘Every good and perfect gift is from above…’ – James 1:17 I am beyond grateful for the love, purpose, and blessings He has placed in my life through these amazing dogs.

Breeder-Reported Testing

Good level

Heavenly Puppies to Love reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for Cavapoos.

  • Hip Dysplasia

Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)

A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific), Full Embark Panel

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

Isabella is very responsive and we are so happy with our cavapoo. She provided us with helpful information and gave us great supplies to make the transition of bringing little Penny (Gloria) home. Penny has a great temperament and has brought us so much joy. We really appreciate all the care and love Isabella has for her dogs and providing such a lovely companion.

We like the Cavapoo (Maggie) we received from Isabella. She does not bite us like our previous dog did. However, we were told she was housetrained but she not infrequently pees and poops in our condo. We were also told that Maggie would only bark when someone came to the door, but she barks often for us to play with her or when she hears someone outside. We have been making progress on correcting both shortcomings. Isabella and her mother are very nice, but we haven’t yet received the dog we'd hoped for. We’re hopeful that with time, we will.

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with Isabella. From the very beginning, she was incredibly communicative, kind, and professional—answering all of our questions with patience and care. It was clear right away that she genuinely loves dogs and is deeply committed to placing them in the right homes. What really stood out was the personal touch Isabella brought to the entire process. She went above and beyond by providing not just guidance, but also thoughtful extras like toys, food, and a blanket with the puppy’s scent, which helped make the transition easier for our new pup. Even after we brought Thor home, she continued to check in to see how things were going, offering support and advice. We felt 100% confident and supported throughout the entire journey. Our puppy is happy, healthy, and has clearly been raised with love and care. We’re so grateful to have found such a trustworthy and compassionate breeder, and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Isabella to anyone looking for a new addition to their family!

Having been a pet sitter for over 17 years and having over 100 clients I connected with Isabella from the beginning because she speaks all things dog very well. She is thorough with her answers explaining every aspect that could be covered by any question I have asked. She is definitely a loving, caring, thoughtful and knowledgeable breeder. I have now had my new little bundle of love for six days and he is so cuddly and affectionate, yet always playful and happy. She has done an excellent job of training him to go in the trays which I appreciate since I’m in a neighborhood with lots of dogs and didn’t want to take him outside yet until he has had all of his shots especially for parvo and distemper. I am delighted with how responsive he is and not afraid of new sights or sounds. I lost my husband a year and a half ago and the house has been rather lonely but now filled with joy again. Thank you, Isabella you have given me a best friend for life.
