We have been noticing a larger belly for a while, but the fluff makes it hard to see in a photo. That's not fluff poofing out on her side, those are puppies.

We hope everyone had a great Easter!! We can confidently say something has shifted for Brenna. We are seeing some undeniable Pregnancy signs.

We are watching her like a hawk analyzing every move hoping she is pregnant. She has gone off her food a bit, we are guessing this is morning sickness and it's right on schedule.

Not at all Scientific Pregnancy Sign "When I'm pregnant, I do not like squirrels, they are not allowed in my yard." Brenna has been barking and growling at squirrels. A bit inconvenient for us living in a wooded area, LOL. Normally, she dosen't pay much attention to them. But, she's feeling the need to keep her space extra safe. We are hoping she is about 1.5 weeks along.

In Ohio for the night, Brenna and River met up today and will again tomorrow.

I started my heat today!! I have been acting ready for puppies for about a week, I have been searching for the perfect den. My people think I'm early, but I don't think it's ever too early to prepare for little ones. Now my family is watching me like a hawk so they know when to book the hotel and schedule my "time" with River.

We got an update on April!! We love updates. She is gorgeous!! She graduated puppy training, loves to be outside and grabs their other dog by the collar to take him out too, LOL. She loves snuggles and they love her!!

Jennifer B.
We absolutely love getting updates on our past puppies!! Check out now named Maverick chilling watching football.

Blessing went to his new family today. Daisy will be the last one to go home, she is getting lots of extra snuggles and play time.

Jennifer (and her family) is an amazing breeder. So attentive with updates and pictures of the litter’s progress. Her communication is over the top and prompt. Jennifer is very knowledgeable and caring, giving lots of pointers and tips as we got closer to the pick up date. When we met our two new puppies - we were given fantastic goodies baskets - one for each puppy. Each basket contained a blanket with their mother’s scent, a couple of favorite toys they played with, a doggy treats bag, harness and leash, a small baggie of alfalfa litter and a small bag of used litter. Jennifer and her family started with house training and a few simple commands before we picked them up at 9 weeks of age. The love and care Jennifer gave the puppies and everything needed for a successful and easy transition to the puppies’ forever homes was truly heartwarming. Our newest family members seem to have quickly adapted to their new home with no difficulties at all! The puppies are well adjusted to being handled, picked up and of course - playing! They are very happy puppies. We purchased a boy and a girl and they were even prepped in advance by being paired up for play time. The litter was large - 10 siblings and Jennifer gave each puppy the attention and care they needed. They were even introduced to the family cat - so they would be familiar if going to a home with feline companions. I can’t say enough about the process and experience of selecting and purchasing our puppies from Jennifer. It was seamless and any questions we had were promptly answered. Jennifer was keen to share each puppy’s personality, traits and appearance with weekly updates and photos. They absolutely were bred in a loving and caring environment. I highly recommend Jennifer at Hoppin Honey Homestead as a trusted breeder. You’ll find you will get the best companion from this breeder. Thanks for everything, Jennifer! It was a pleasure meeting you and your family and we are over the moon with our new babies!

We had a wonderful experience with Hoppin Honey Homestead. I saw Commander pop up in one of my Springer groups, and I thought he was adorable. I commented and heard from Jenny almost immediately. Within just a couple of hours we were on the phone with her. I was completely at ease and knew that I definitely wanted to adopt through Hoppin Honey. They were fantastic. Jenny was very thorough with all of Commander's info including his health check-ups and what we needed to do next. We went to go adopt him the next night. Jenny had an amazing take home bag filled with everything we would need for the first weeks or so. Commander is an excellent puppy, and is making himself right at home. We feel so lucky to have adopted him through Jenny!
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
