Why did you start breeding?
Even though I brought my first Coton home in 2021, this adventure with Cotons began over a decade ago when I fell in love with this fun-loving, happy-go-lucky, family-motivated dog.What makes your program special?
I am passionate about breeding dogs that conform to the breed standards, but even more importantly, that will be the perfect addition to your family. From initial health screenings to socialization with other dogs, cats, (chickens, ducks, goats, etc!) and humans, we make sure our puppies are prepared to thrive in their forever homes. Smoke-free environment. Natural Rearing. Raw food diet.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include tri-color, black and white, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

“The price includes the guarantee, mCTCA registration, my vet-approved immunization, deworming, microchipping, and puppy socialization. Most puppies are priced as "non-breedable," regardless of color or size. The price includes registration and a microchip. About Buffy
Our sweet Buffy is a registered Black & White, MCTCA The Madagascar Coton de Tulear Club of America (mCTCA) is the oldest Coton Breed club and registry, having been founded in 1976. Health screened and cleared for breeding according to club standards.
Parent health testing

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Serum Bile Acid Test, Temperament Test, Standard Veterinary Blood Panel, Brucellosis
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
