I'm Angela B., the breeder behind Loup Vertueux Malinois located in Kelley, IA. This program seeks to produce a high caliber working ability in both protection&obedience, as well as detection. I breed titled working line Mals who have excelled in sport, with the goal of producing litters wt good character, balanced temperaments, and good health.
We do not breed companion dogs.
Q. & A. with Angela
Why did you start breeding?
I wanted to produce another, but improved version of my first competition Mal`. I love the Malinois breed and want to be a part of maintaining balanced temperaments between prey & aggression: dogs who can work, but who have heart, good character, and a clear headed demeanor.
Our goal is to create balanced and healthy dogs who will excel in protection sports, patrol, and other working disciplines.
What makes your program special?
I only breed titled dogs from working lines and seek to maintain the old-world Malinois who was balanced in drives, bitable, and physically resilient. We go above and beyond and expose our puppies to people, dogs and environments prior to placing them; and we strive to maintain immaculately clean living spaces, ensuring each puppy receives the attention and environment they need to thrive.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Full Embark Panel
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
Health testing is one key piece of responsible breeding and is performed on breeding dogs to prevent the presence of heritable conditions in their puppies.
