I'm M.E. P., the breeder behind Whispering Aspen Homestead located in Marshall, MI. We are a dog loving family raising family, loving dogs! Our dogs are affectionate and adorable and we love sharing them! Our pups are bred for health, temperament, intelligence and cuteness! We provide each puppy with the love, socialization, nutrition and training that will make them the best dog they can be. We strive to form a strong foundation in each pup for learning, loving, and living a long, happy, healthy life as an integral part of your family!

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Our dogs are such an integral and important part of our life that we decided to breed and raise some awesome pups that will one day complete your family. Our love of dogs and our ability to devote so much time and attention to them, as well as our ideal location in the country, led us on this journey of breeding the best dogs we can!

  • What makes your program special?

    Because we only raise one litter at a time, in our living room, our pups are completely integrated into family life and learn to be confident, happy family dogs. We focus on the highest quality nutrition with wild raw venison and rabbit, raw goat milk, sweet potato and other healthy fruits and veggies, probiotics, and raw meaty bones. We also spend considerable time training and socializing them so they can reach their full potential and be the best dog they can be!

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are mini size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include phantom and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from M.E.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    We hit the jackpot of breeders when we got our puppy from M.E. and her family. When she says her puppies are “hand-raised”, she means it in every sense of the word. From deep education about the nutritional needs of growing puppies, to appropriate neurological stimulation for well-adjusted dogs, M.E. has it all and does it all. She was highly responsive to all of my questions, and knows her puppies better than most people know their children. It was evident from our first conversation that we found something special with M.E. and her family. Her sons even went out of their way to find playlists of “city sounds” to play to our puppy so that she would be used to the car alarms and sirens commonly heard on our street when we brought her home. Our puppy came to us at 8-weeks knowing how to sit to say please, with a positive relationship to her crate, and going potty outside far more than any accidents. We are so grateful to ME and her family for all they have done in raising our newest family member!
