I'm Amy D., the breeder behind Yorkshire Terriers Holistic Hounds located in Colorado Springs, CO. I raise Yorkies with a holistic mindset. I focus on a species-appropriate diet and begin potty and sensitivity training. As a breeder, I feel a sense of responsibility to prioritize the overall health and temperament of each of my puppies and to ensure that they are loved and well cared for prior to joining their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
I’ve owned dogs since I was 20 years old and have been breeding for the past 4 years. I have invested in the best breeding pairs to do my part to better the breed. I'm passionate about sharing my incredible dogs with others that can enjoy their company just as much as I do!What makes your program special?
I put a lot of care and attention into my training and socialization! I focus on redirection, simple commands, and positive reinforcement of good behavior. Spending lots of time with each litter helps them learn how to be a good puppy in the home, to not be destructive, and not to bark unnecessarily.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
