10-Week Puppy Update!! Our Yorkshire Terrier trio has officially reached 10 weeks old, and what an exciting transformation it’s been! With each passing day, these pups are growing not only in size but also in personality, skill, and confidence. We’re deep into their socialization period now, and the impact of these early experiences is showing in the best way. Teething is well underway, so we’ve seen an uptick in playful chewing and mouthing—completely normal at this age. Thankfully, their early crate and potty training has set them up for success, and they continue to impress us with their routines and recall. Their ability to grasp new skills is nothing short of incredible. Because of their small size, our little ones have stayed with us beyond the typical 8-week mark. This extra time has allowed us to continue building their confidence in a structured, nurturing environment. From short car rides to supervised play in new areas, they’re getting a well-rounded start before heading off to their forever families. 8-Week Puppy Update Our babies are officially 8 weeks old—and what a milestone it is! At this critical stage in their development, our Yorkshire Terrier puppies are maturing beautifully, both physically and behaviorally. Though they’re still tiny in size, they’re growing more confident and capable by the day. While most puppies head to their forever homes around this time, due to our little ones' petite size, they’ll remain with us a bit longer—typically until 10 to 12 weeks of age. This extra time allows us to continue nurturing their development in a safe, supportive environment while laying an incredible foundation for their new families. Potty training and crate time? They’re doing amazingly well! The pups are sleeping through the night in their crates, they are using their potty areas 90% of the time and showing excellent recall when called. We’ve begun introducing basic commands like sit, off, and leave it—and while they’re still learning, their progress has been truly impressive for their age and size. As always, our Yorkshire Terriers are AKC-registered and bred with an unwavering focus on health, temperament, and structure. 6 weeks old Update Our puppies are 6weeks old as of 4/1/25 and entering a crucial stage in their development. At this age, they’re gaining confidence, learning essential social skills, and beginning to explore beyond their whelping area. They require more space, stimulation, and gentle, positive human interaction to support healthy growth and emotional development. We’ve begun introducing basic enrichment activities to help nurture their curiosity and adaptability. These early experiences lay the foundation for confident, well-adjusted companions. Potty training is also gently underway, and we’re gradually exposing them to a variety of sights, sounds, and people in a safe, nurturing environment. As you can imagine, individual photos are becoming a bit more challenging to capture now that they’re so active! In the meantime, we’ve included a few short video clips of the puppies engaging in their enrichment time, along with some updated weight photos to track their progress.
