Meet the breeder

I'm the breeder behind Columbia River Sunset Poodles located in Clatskanie, OR. We have 3 reds and 1 Parti Poodle. Our priority is to ensure the health and well-being of all our dogs from birth until they leave with their forever family and beyond.

Q. & A. with Shelli

  • Why did you start breeding?

We had our own Poodles and fell in love with the breed. We wanted to do our part as responsible breeders and produce healthy, well-rounded pups. We are devoted to ensuring there are happy and healthy poodles for others to enjoy just as much as we have!
  • What makes your program special?

Our litters are delivered and raised in our family room. All of our dogs have their hips and elbows certified through OFA. They are genetically cleared through Pawprint Genetics and/or Embark. Our puppies are raised in our home and are well-socialized prior to joining their new families. In our breeding program, good health and temperament are essential, cuteness is guaranteed, and they come pre-spoiled!
  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

Our puppies are standard size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

Our puppies are red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

They live in my home and guardian homes.
