- Tagline Module + Sarah’s video on FB
- Shouting “ouch” or puppy “yip” noises may only increase your pup’s arousal & make biting harder and more persistent
- Use larger sized dog toys to keep your hands out of the way
- Offer appropriate chewing options for pups (NOT just soft plush toys)
- cat collar temporarily
- Sarah’s supplemental Tagline video on FB
- Human grade food is usually healthier, tastier & less expensive!
- Suggestions
- Many breeds and “designer” breeds have false claims of being “hypoallergenic” (i.e. “doodles”)
- It’s the dander that people are allergic to
- Regular dog grooming is key (dog shampoo ONLY to prevent skin issues, grooming gloves for short coated breeds)
- Regular vacuuming and sweeping are also key
- Multiple, short, structured crate training sessions daily from Crate Training Modules
- Hire a neighbor, friend or dog walking service
- Use crate covers & TVs/radios, fans or white noise apps for ambient noise to promote puppy quiet and dampen their noise
- Put smeared kongs in freezer!! The cold makes their entertainment last longer & also soothes teething puppy mouths
- Worried pups often won’t eat treats
- Back up crate training challenges to make them shorter (Too much, too soon for pup)
- Save smeared kongs as “special” & only for crate time
- They have to learn how
- Initially just smear PB, cream cheese or etc. at the very top edge to make Kong less challenging
- Dogs don’t generalize well
- anti slip rubber mats for dog traction
- lick mats!
- ask a local groomer for product recommendations

I have had 3 puppies in the past 4 years. The last pup I have is on the Puppy Training Program and has been by far the easiest to train while learning at a much faster rate than the other two. If i had known training could be so smooth I would have done this sooner.
