00:00:45 Puppy is eating poop!

- Leave it

- Pick up daily

- Pineapple juice and meat tenderizer do NOT work & aren’t healthy for pup

00:03:45 Pup is litter pan trained but having hard time transitioning to potty outside

- Blot pee from pan with paper towel & stake it outside in potty area

- Take feces from pan & place outside in potty area

- Place some pellets from litter pan in outside potty area

00:06:00 Pup is afraid of car rides or car sick?

- Car Sick = Change pup’s visual perspective, keep temp cold, diffuser with peppermint essential oil or pheromones (Adaptil)

- Are car rides ONLY to the vet? 

(Happy, short training sessions just getting in & out of car but don’t drive anywhere then gradually increase distance/duration)

(Take trips to the vet to just go into the lobby, lots of treats and petting from human but no procedure)

00:11:00 Friend’s adult dog coming to visit; should adult dog have to follow the puppy’s routines?

- No.  Adult dog can follow their usual routines as they have earned trustworthiness re house training and chewing.  Pup sticks with their usual routines as they haven’t yet earned that trust.

00:16:30 After some bad experiences elsewhere, pup now has issues with grooming

- Nails & Dremel Videos on FB

00:24:00 Pup is biting humans and pulling hair when playing with humans.  Is it possible to play too rough with pups?  YES

- don’t encourage or reward behavior you do not want but continuing your attention and behavior

00:27:00 Kids and dogs

- Kids should always ask owner’s permission to touch/greet any dog

- Kids should NEVER attempt to ride, sit on, pull tails, *pat* or give hugs

- Kids should offer dog treats on the palm of a flat hand (not pincher grasp)
