- Hold pup or at minimum keep pup on leash
- Tandem, structured activities (name game, walks, etc.)
- Adult dogs should NOT be puppy sitters
- Expen for pup so adult dog can relax and have private human time
- Be Patient!! Relationship take time, just like with humans!
- Three, 2 minute training sessions per day are better than one, 15 minute session (for expending mental/physical energy & better training)
- Multiple toy boxes always accessible for pup to make good choices

- Put crate inside expen… then if temper tantrum, you can employ crate cover and earthquakes with pup in crate (Review Crate Training Modules)
- “Stop the World” strategies
- The importance of intermittent reinforcement

- Scentwork, Canine Good Citizen, Tricks, Rally

- white noises (fans, TV, music, etc.)
- squirt bottle
- keep long line on pup to ensure stop, if necessary
- put honus back on the pup (their responsibility to make sure where we are at)
- change directions &/or hide for dog to find you
