I'm Jennifer T., the breeder behind 49th State Kennels located in Eagle River, AK. We breed for healthy, athletic, functional, well-tempered dogs. We put a major emphasis on health testing to ensure future generations are free of genetic disabilities.

Why did you start breeding?
I fell in love with my first American Bully and knew I wanted to do what I could to better this breed. Our hope is to breed American Bullies that are more functional than those you would typically see.What makes your program special?
Our main focus is the health of our dogs so we believe in health testing all the dogs in our program. Whether you're looking for a family dog or a show quality dog - Our goal is to produce healthy, athletic, functional dogs with excellent temperaments for life long companions.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Jennifer
Jennifer has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $2,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Price includes copies of health testing on both parents, shots anddeworming records, health certificate from our veterinarian, and microchipping. Puppies price range from $2500.00 - $3500.00. Deposits are $1000.00, non refundable.”
Contract & health guarantee
Jennifer may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. About Tikka
Tikka is a female American Bully. Carefully selected as a great representative of her breed, Jennifer decided to make her part of their program. Jennifer has passed Good Dog’s screening process, which involved a review of their breeding practices, environment, and the mental and physical health of their dogs.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
PawPrint Genetic Panel (Breed Specific)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
