I'm Craig/Belinda M., the breeder behind A Legacy Chihuahua located in Visalia, CA. We're passionate Chihuahua breeders. Our pups are our family. They live in our living room and camp out on our laps every night. We have an extensive screening process to make sure every single one of our pups is placed in a loving home. We care deeply about the wellbeing of our puppies.

Why did you start breeding?
My daughter, Michele, was born with Asthma. In her pre-teens a pediatric allergy specialist suggested we purchase a purebred Chihuahua. At that time, Michele was needing two injections per week, being rushed to an emergency on several occasions. Three months after bringing this sweet little smooth coat Chihuahua into our family, the injections ended. This breed changed our lives for the better.What makes your program special?
We do everything we can to ensure our Chihuahuas live the life they deserve. We have a very extensive screening process to make sure each puppy goes to the perfect home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include cream, fawn and white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
