Q. & A. with Susan
Why did you start breeding?
While looking for the perfect pet I found this wonderful breed. I was encouraged to help them establish a foundation here in America. No looking back.
What makes your program special?
I care. About the breed, its genetics, their future. My dogs are over two years of age when bred. They will have CHIC certification and a title or titles in conformation and/or a performance title. They are tested for brucellosis, wormed when needed, and receive important vaccinations. I look for genetic diversity when choosing breeding partners. Puppies are raised as if each one is the only one. Each new owner is screened for responsibility and is educated to the breed's characteristics. No traumatic shipping. Let's get to know each other.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
