I'm Lorri G., the breeder behind Agua Viva located in Midland County, MI. Our dogs are bred for excellent health and temperament. We strive to produce beautiful and versatile beloved companions that can excel at their jobs, including service work, therapy, obedience, and performance. Why did you start breeding?
I started with this breed at age 12. We used to have Standard Poodles and then got into Water Dogs. From that time, I was hooked. This breed just captures your heart.
What makes your program special?
These dogs are members of our family. We strive to raise healthy, happy dogs that can compete in a number of venues, and still live at home with your family.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Early Onset Progressive Retinal Atrophy (EOPRA), PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy, GM1 Gangliosidosis, Portuguese Water Dog Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
