I'm Sterling M., the breeder behind Airbender Dogs located in Rockbridge County, VA. I have owned and shown Silken Windhounds for 8 years, and have been waiting until I had the right dogs in my program to start breeding. I prioritize health, temperament, and structure. I hope to produce easy to live with dogs while also maintaining the drive that makes these hounds what they are by proving them on the field.

Why did you start breeding?
Although I am fairly new to breeding, I am enthusiastic about ethically sharing my love for Silken Windhounds with the world. I have a passion for excellence and healthy family pets, and I am dedicated to furthering my education so that I can continue to improve my breeding program as well as share my knowledge with others! I look forward to connecting with you!What makes your program special?
I am passionate about raising well-rounded pups who will excel in any venue with their new families. I focus on temperament, structural soundness, and beauty. My dogs are family members first and foremost. I am passionate about the work I do and truly love my dogs. My commitment is to provide you with a professional and friendly puppy-buying experience. That includes always having responsible practices for breeding, training, and rehoming my puppies. I truly want the very best for my puppies and their families.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include between $2,800 - $3,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Multiple Drug Sensitivity (MDR1), Collie Eye Anomaly (CEA)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
