I'm Amanda R., the breeder behind A&J Cutie Pawtooties located in Franklin, NC. Our dogs are raised in our home and loved like family. We take pride in the amazing disposition of our babies. We have young children that we homeschool and they are very involved so if you’re looking for a puppy that is well rounded and exposed to children and pet you’ve come to the right place.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Breeding was a way for me to cultivate my love for these breeds. I grow as a breeder and person by always trying to improve any imperfections in my bloodlines. Carefully putting dogs together that complement each other and fix faults. It is definitely a passion.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Chihuahua puppies have long coats. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Pomeranian puppies include chocolate parti, black parti, red, cream, black, chocolate, chocolate merle, chocolate and tan, red sable, black and brindle, and black and tan. Chihuahua puppies include black, chocolate, chocolate sabled fawn, red and white, blue merle, blue and tan, black and tan, and black and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $300 - $5,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“This price includes registration, vet check, age appropriate vaccinations, 1 month of insurance, and a puppy pack including the food they’re on. Deposits are $500 for puppies up to $2000 and $1000 for more expensive puppies . Deposits are nonrefundable, unless something happens to the puppy. Puppies under $1000 deposit is $100.”

  • Elbow Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered)

    Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.

  • Eye Examination (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (rDVM, not registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
