I'm Gabriella T., the breeder behind Altitude Kennel located in Muncie, IN. We offer healthy, happy, sound family companions first and foremost. Our dogs are also upland hunters, waterfowl retrievers, are competitive in the AKC show ring and compete in a variety of sports. I'd love to tell you more about our dogs and our program!

What makes your program special?
We believe that dogs have to be amazing pets first and foremost. No matter your goals with your dog, being able to live with them as enjoyable companions is a top priority. Because of this, maintaining good temperament and health while breeding to breed standard are the #1 priorities in our program. Beyond this, we believe our dogs should be able to do it all!What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white and liver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Gabriella
Gabriella has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Gabriella partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“Puppy price includes health guarantee, first round of puppy shots, a complete deworming schedule, microchip, health certificate if applicable, 30 days of Trupanion pet insurance for your puppy & more. NOTE: ALL PUPPIES ARE MARKED AVAILABLE until puppy evaluations are complete at 7-8 weeks of age. Deposits hold a spot in a litter, not a specific puppy.”

About Dutton
Dutton is the sweetest girl! We joke her tail hasn't stopped wagging since the day she was born. She is the absolute best house dog, happy to hang out all day but ready any moment for a hike, a swim or a dog show!
Parent health testing
Excellent level
Altitude Kennel reports to performing the health tests below on their breeding dogs. Ask your breeder about the tests performed on the parents of your litter. Learn more about health testing for German Wirehaired Pointers.
Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA), Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
