I'm Elisha M., the breeder behind Amber’s Vizslas located in Anchorage, AK. We work hard to produce healthy, well-rounded Vizsla puppies that will make others as happy as our dogs have made us! We decided to take our love for this breed to the next level by breeding our incredible dogs. We hope our puppies bring lots of joy and love into the hearts of their new families!

Why did you start breeding?
Our love of Vizslas started when we got our first Vizsla , Amber in 2020. We fell in love with her. As she grew we got to see her personality unfold. All of those stories they say about being Velcro dogs are true! Amber loves her family as much as we love her. We chose to start our breeding program to help other to experience the same love, joy, and connection we share with our Vizslas.
What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because we treat our puppies as part of the family and give them exposure to kids, adult dogs, and other animals so they are well socialized by the time they go to their forever homes. We start potty training at 7 weeks so they have a good start.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Puppy prices include a $600 non-refundable deposit and $1,400 final payment, before taxes & fees.

Hip Dysplasia (Preliminary)
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Thyroid (Autoimmune Thyroiditis, registered with OFA)
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

We couldn't be happier with our new vizsla, Cailey. Elisha was great to work with, texted photos, videos, and updates often; and allowed us to visit the whole litter at six weeks. Ours is happy, healthy, and with a great start on socialization. Within a week she was crate trained, sleeping through the night, going for short hikes with us and our older dog, playing in a puppy pool and wading shallow creeks. She's adjusted nicely to her new home. It's a lot of work to care for a litter of new puppies, and get them all off to a great start. We appreciate all the effort that Elisha clearly put in.

Me and my wife were looking for a vizsla pup for quite some time and looked at numerous reputable breeders when we can across Elisha’s page and Anbers vizslas. When my son found Amber’s puppies online I had my doubts because they were in anchorage and we were in juneau. Im the type of person who doesn’t feel comfortable buying anything online from an out of town private party, let alone a puppy. When I contacted Elisha I was instantly put at ease. Elisha was so great to work with! From the very beginning it was obvious that she was a responsible breeder that treats her pups like family. She was responsive from our very first inquiry throughout the entire process. She sent pictures or videos nearly every day and kept us updated on how our little guy was doing. We just scheduled our first vet appointment and even the ladies at the clinic had rave reviews for Elisha and all of the pups they’ve seen from her in the past.
