I'm Amy B., the breeder behind Amy's Silken Windhounds located in Corry, PA. Our dogs are fully health tested, results registered with OFA. Our dogs are up to date on veterinary including vaccinations, and heartworm and tick preventative.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Silkens stole my heart, and I wanted to help bring this special breed into other families homes. My experience as a vet tech and nurse, helped paved a way into breeding healthy puppies.
  • What makes your program special?

    I breed for health, and raise the puppies in my home.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include red, gold brindle, and silver brindle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
