I'm Taegan E., the breeder behind Arizona Adventure Chihuahuas located in Phoenix, AZ. We are passionate dog lovers raising happy, healthy puppies in our home with love, care, and adventure at heart.   • Why did you start breeding?

    Summit and Cedar are lovingly nicknamed the OG Chihuahuas, or the Perfect Chihuahuas. They were the first that made us fall in love with the breed.

  • What makes your program special?

    We keep our program exceptionally small. We breed for companions and adventure sidekicks. We only breed Chihuahuas with excellent traits and qualities representative of the breed, not the stereotypes.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include merle, chocolate, white, fawn and white, black and white, blue merle, chocolate and white, chocolate and tan, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Taegan

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $5,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

All deposits are non-refundable. If something happens and you choose to pass on the puppy, you can apply the deposit to the next litter.”

Taegan may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Vet Wellness Exam

    A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.

  • DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
