I'm Laurie M., the breeder behind Ashcreek Welsh Terriers located in Andover, OH. We're committed to raising healthy, well-rounded puppies with great temperaments and sound health. Our Furever families over the years range from Top 10 College football coaches to hardworking homemakers and everything in between! In order to start our puppies off on the right paw, we begin training and socializing at a young age so they are set up for success in their new homes. We prioritize the health and well-being of each one of our puppies and follow all appropriate puppy health protocols. Our pups are well socialized in a busy household with grandchildren and cats! AKC limited registration (no breeding rights), spay/neuter agreement.
Q. & A. with Laurie
Why did you start breeding?
My interest in the Welsh Terrier breed started as a child falling in love with a Welshie cared for by a relative and has grown from there.
Ashcreek Welsh Terriers strives to improve upon the breed and focus on traits, temperament and conformation. Companion pups are sold with AKC pet (limited) registration and spay/neuter agreement.
What makes your program special?
Our pups are raised in a home environment with plenty of socialization and simulation. Our focus is to provide healthy, energetic and well rounded pups.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.

Laurie was a wonderful breeder to work with. She was very responsive, and from our first message, I could tell that she would be easy to work with. She kept us informed prior to the time we picked up our new puppy, and through my interactions with her it was clear that she was knowledgeable, caring, and an upstanding breeder.
When we arrived to pick up our puppy, Laurie was there and waiting. She was very transparent, and made sure to scan the microchip and show us where it was located. She sent us home with a folder of information, puppy food, and a collapsible water bowl, and followed up with us later the same day.
Our new puppy, Lola, is an absolute joy!!! She is not only loved by our family, but also by our neighbors and their kids as well. Most notably, she has a great temperament. She is happy to sit in my lap and cuddle, but has just as much fun playing with my husband and enjoys being in the mix with my rowdy kids. It is very clear that she was well cared for, well socialized, and there was an emphasis on her overall health and happiness. We absolutely love her and would recommend Laurie and Ashcreek Welsh Terriers to anyone looking for a happy, healthy puppy to add to their family.
