I'm Pan, the breeder behind Atlantic Coast PWD located in Jacksonville, FL. My pups are raised with lots of new people, sounds, sights, and other animals so that they are accustomed to active homes. We pre-train for house training and we offer inhouse delivery services within 500 miles of Jacksonville, FL for a flat $600 fee. Or come meet us in the Jacksonville area.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    As I learned more about responsible breeding practices, I wanted to do my part to produce healthy, well-bred puppies. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am passionate about Portuguese Water Dogs, and my love for these dogs shines through in every aspect of my breeding program. I spend lots of time with my puppies and enjoy training and socializing them so that they will be best prepared for their new lives with their forever families.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Pan

Pan has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,999 - $2,599 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Microphthalmia Syndrome (PES), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 2 (PRA-crd2), PRA, Cone-Rod Dystrophy 1 (PRA-crd1), Juvenile Dilated Cardiomyopathy, PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd), Early Onset Progressive Retinal Atrophy (EOPRA), GM1 Gangliosidosis, Portuguese Water Dog Type

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
