I'm Daisy B., the breeder behind Bailey Family Farm located in Coxs Mills, WV. Our breeding pair are well bred and proven livestock guardians that come from guardian lines. The dam Maddie Grace actually come from both show and guardian lines. Our puppies have amazing temperaments and are raised with pretty much every livestock species except horses prior to heading to new homes. This pair has produced solid well round pups that are working in 7 states. Additionally we have placed pups in pet homes and they are also doing amazing with there dedicated family members. Why did you start breeding?
We started to breed to help preserve the purelines of the great Pyrenees. So many Livestock Guardian Dogs are a mix with many breeds, while those are great dogs there is a need to keep purebred lines pure to ensure that the main characteristic of the breed stays relevant and consistent.What makes your program special?
We are intentional in our actions, care and health of our adult dogs and all litters that are born on our farm. Our pups are handled from birth daily to ensure that they are properly socialized and reared. They are surrounded by a multitude of livestock so that they may start to bond with the animals they are supposed to protect. Our pups are dewormed bi- weekly starting at 5 weeks of age, age appropriate vaccinations, micro-chipped and vet check prior to heading to their new homes. Once puppies are paired with new families, those families are updated weekly with pictures and progress until they head to there new home.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and gray, white and tan, white and badger, and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Daisy
Daisy has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Daisy partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 6 weeks old.
“Buyers will fill out an application and questionnaire. Those will be reviewed and the temperament of the puppy and there needs of the future home (pets/children/activities) will be considered with matching a family with a puppy.”

“Limited AKC Registration: $1,600 Unlimited ACK Registration: $2,000. Deposit is included in the final pricing of the pup.”

Program update on 18 May •…Pearl, Ruby and Opal all head off to there new homes today and that make the farm and barn a lot quieter. My heart is full because I know all the families will provided them the best of love and care, but I will miss all my barn help. I like to thank all my new Pyrents and wish you the best as you embark on this journey. Please reach out if you have any questions. Litter update on 23 Apr •The Litter had their vet check/health exam and first set of vaccination on 4/16/26 and passed all physical exam test.

About Otis
Otis is as laid back as Great Pyrenees comes with an amazing temperament. Great around all livestock and children and guest to our farm. He loves a good stroll around the farm and keep all the bad predators away. He is clear through OFA for hips and elbows.

About Maddie
Maddie is our most dominate Great Pyrenees and loves the baby livestock the most. She is rock solid with all livestock species and was safe with chicken from a very young age. She loves her people and her livestock and take her role very seriously when guarding our farm. She has an amazing temperament, and loves kids. Maddie's hips and elbows have been cleared through OFA.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A)
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
