My dogs are bred for TEMPERAMENT, HEALTH, CONFORMATION. I spend hours on socializing introducing them from birth to the day they leave for their forever homes.

Why did you start breeding?
Started showing and wanted to start breeding my own Championship lines. I have an amazing GC CH SC male and 2 half sisters to LOTUS. A little feisty Chihuahua who was crowned Top 20 at the 2024 Chihuahua Nationals held in Dallas.What makes your program special?
I’m passionate about this breed. I’m dedicated to producing high-quality animals in line with the AKC standards for this do anything, go anywhere, feisty, loving, incredible little creature.What are the different breed coat types in your program?
Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?

Getting a puppy from Barbara JAN

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Barbara JAN partners with them to find the best puppy match.
"We take great care in placing each puppy with the right family. Puppies are matched once they're old enough for us to evaluate their temperaments and personalities — typically around 7-8 weeks."
Price
"This price is for purchase only. Includes 6, 10 & 14 week vaccines, worming, microchip, well puppy exam by licensed veterinary. Puppies will be at least 12 weeks old before considering transferring to new owner. . Deposit is 1/2 of the price of the puppy that is matched with you. Balance is due when your puppy is 12 weeks old. All transactions are made through Good Dog Breeders."

Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Patellar Luxation
Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).

BEST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! From the moment we laid eyes on him to contacting Jan to actually picking him up was the greatest wait and experience ever… I love little dogs and wanted my daughters to grow up with a little dog they are 3 and 7 months and HE LOVES THEM, he sleeps with them, he goes in the stroller, wagon, car seat, anywhere he can find a good spot. I never thought I’d say this but he growls if you get too close to the 7 month old, he’s very protective loving and vocal. I could not be anymore pleased blessed and happy with our overall experience and our little brisket.

Our baby boy Archie is such a blessing to our family. He is so happy, spunky, full of life, and well behaved. He is an absolute hoot and even does well with our senior chihuahua. It is apparent that he was well taken care of, loved, potty trained, and socialized before he became ours. Jan cares deeply about her chihuahuas and who they go to in the future.
