I'm the breeder behind Barnun Kennel located in Miramar, FL. I produce pups that will continue to excel in their chosen field, whether that be working, showing, or as an active companion. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive, and have wonderful temperaments. My passion is poured into every aspect of my breeding program. I truly love my dogs and what I do.
Q. & A. with Barbara
Why did you start breeding?
I bought my first Parson from a reputable breeder that I was working for at the time. She became an AKC Champion at the age of one year old. Seeing that she really was not happy showing in conformation we went on to agility, obedience, CGC, AKC temperament test, and earth dog. She got titles in all of those classes and I then retired to start my own bloodlines. It has been an absolute joy of a journey, and I am so happy to be able to share these wonderful dogs with other loving families and individuals.
What makes your program special?
I am a professional handler of Parson Russell Terriers. I do not breed my dogs unless they are fully healthy and genetically tested. I am dedicated to always having responsible policies when it comes to breeding, socializing, and training my pups. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
