I'm Amanda T., the breeder behind Baxters Chihuahuas located in Amity, PA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Absolutely love chihuahuas and realized they are very hard to find and I wanted more of them so I started on the journey and my passion of chihuahuas!

  • What makes your program special?

    I love my dogs and they are very well loved and spoiled. THEY are the most amazing breed and full of personality!!!!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, cream, blue, chocolate brindled fawn, chocolate sabled fawn, cream and white, red and white, black and white, black and tan, chocolate and tan, blue merle, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $2,500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    So, Thursday my Little Bucatini had his first vet appt. I thought this is a perfect time to tell everyone, that Amanda is the absolute greatest person to have had the pleasure of working with. She is kind, knowledgeable and compassionate. Her response time is so fast I almost thought it was some sort of chat GBT program lol. My little guy is perfectly healthy and the happiest puppy with a hilarious disposition. It is so obvious how much these babies are loved, not just by Amanda, but by her amazing triplets, they love them & teach then so much! If I lived closer I would ask if I could hire her for training. No joke. He is so sweet and listens so incredibly well. I am blown away. It takes a village and Amanda has an amazing one🫶🙌

    We cannot thank Amanda enough for bringing Lucy into our lives. After a really heartbreaking experience losing the puppy our son had originally picked, we were all devastated, especially him.     Amanda was super responsive and helpful in answering any and all questions I had about purchasing one of her puppies. She helped me figure out how to get my dream puppy, was Lush Louie now Mongo, and even answered questions once we got him home. She sent us on our way with everything we might need to get started, a bed, a small bag of food, a few toys, pee pads, and a stack of paper towels that came in super handy on our long drive home. I can tell Mongo was raised in a home where he was loved before coming to us. This was my first time working with a breeder and I had such a great experience. Thank you Amanda!

    Amanda is super responsive, right from the first contact. She is amazingly thorough with her Chihuahua program. She is already on top of every detail caring for her babies and is very knowledgeable of breed needs. Amanda has an established relationship with a local veterinarian. I chose to pick up my new baby from out of state in person. Amanda organized it perfectly and all of her paperwork was on point. Our new puppy is safe and happy in our home now.
