I'm Amanda T., the breeder behind Baxters Chihuahuas located in Amity, PA. We love to responsibly raise and train our puppies so they have the tools to be well-rounded, beloved family members. We give our dogs the best lives possible. We are looking for families and individuals that will provide our puppies with the same level of love and care.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    Absolutely love chihuahuas and realized they are very hard to find and I wanted more of them so I started on the journey and my passion of chihuahuas!

  • What makes your program special?

    I love my dogs and they are very well loved and spoiled. THEY are the most amazing breed and full of personality!!!!

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, cream, blue, chocolate brindled fawn, chocolate sabled fawn, cream and white, red and white, black and white, black and tan, chocolate and tan, blue merle, and black and silver. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Amanda

Amanda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Amanda partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $2,500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,000 - $6,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

    Amanda was super responsive and helpful in answering any and all questions I had about purchasing one of her puppies. She helped me figure out how to get my dream puppy, was Lush Louie now Mongo, and even answered questions once we got him home. She sent us on our way with everything we might need to get started, a bed, a small bag of food, a few toys, pee pads, and a stack of paper towels that came in super handy on our long drive home.     Oh my goodness…took me almost 3 years of searching for a new furbaby after my little 17yr old furbaby soulmate (Princess) passed in 2021. I wanted to find a furbaby that was exactly like her again. Tiny and healthy chihuahuas are a challenge to find. Baxter’s came across my screen during a sleepless night of looking again online…and I took a shot and dropped a message. The handoff was seamless, the vet documentation was provided, and the love and care from the Baxter Team was full for for my baby…it showed me that my little baby was and is truly loved during her newborn days.     Working with Amanda was a great experience. The communication between us was great right from the start. She made the process easy, and worked with us on pickup day by meeting us at a convenient location. Our new Puppy "Petunia " is even cuter in person than the pictures if that's possible. Amanda went over everything about her, along with instructions for future vaccinations, diet and overall care. I would highly recommend getting a chihuahua puppy from her. She is awesome.

    Amanda is super responsive, right from the first contact. She is amazingly thorough with her Chihuahua program.
