Meet the breeder

I'm Gina D., the breeder behind Bellastaff located in Indianapolis, IN. I’m a small hobby breeder. We focus on proper socializing and health testing. My dogs have excelled in both conformation and performance as well as great family pets! I’ve been involved with dogs since 1994. During that time I have had dogs that have done Shutzhund, tracking, obedience, conformation and performance. They are my life!!

Q. & A. with Gina

  • Why did you start breeding?

I got my first show dog in 1996. I got involved in the world of conformation and wanted to continue to grow. So I decided to breed my first litter!
  • What makes your program special?

I’m very hands-on with early neurological stimulation for the pups. I feel it’s extremely important to breed dogs that are of sound mind and healthy. I will be there for the life of your dog! I don’t just sell you a puppy and walk away.. I encourage my puppy owners to reach out to me at any time of the dog’s life if they have questions. And I always love getting updates and pics!!
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

Chihuahua puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Gina

Gina has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.

Gina partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 7 weeks old.

“I will assess puppies as they get older to see the individual personalities. Once I know how each puppy is developed I can better know what the best home for that puppy will be. ”

Price

Puppy prices include a $300 non-refundable deposit and between $1,700 - $2,700 final payment, before taxes & fees.
Pay over time with Klarna.

“I put the same amount of time into each puppy. No matter if they are a show potential or pet/ companion. Chihuahua litters are small and sometimes require a c - section. Price for my Am staffs are 2500.00. When putting a deposit on a puppy it is to hold a puppy for you. That deposit will be applied to the price of the puppy. It is non-refundable.”

Contract & health guarantee

Gina may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
