I'm Olena J., the breeder behind BlackGoldToyPoodles located in Leesville, LA. I spent years on studying the standards, anatomy, genetics, temperament, personality, pedigree lines and grooming techniques in order to create the most elegant, unique, and healthy dogs that can be stars in the show ring or loving pets at home, so let me introduce myself and our breeding program.

  • What makes your program special?

    I established my breeding program by carefully choosing the top producers both from my own lines and from the leading USA kennels. Studying each dog's lines, I became selective on the mating routes to get the best offspring, oftentimes intertwining European blood with American. By selecting the best representatives of the breed from several European countries and America 🇺🇸

  • What are the different breed sizes in your program?

    Our puppies are toy size. Sizes will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include black, brown, and red. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Olena

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Olena partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price including the vaccination, microchip, AKC registration, socialisation and health quarantee. We required a $1000 non-refundable deposit to hold the puppy for you. This reservation fee does towards the full balance.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • PRA, Rod-Cone Degeneration (PRA-prcd)

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
