We are a true blue Great Pyrenees Family. We have owned two over a 20 year span and wanted to add another Great Pyrenees family member. From my first phone call with Madison to our pick up of our beloved new best friend, Madison was stellar at communication and updates. Gus is now 5 months old and 80lbs. He's lean, strong, and confident. He is the most affectionate Great Pyrenees we have ever owned. He was fully potty trained by 12 weeks and has had no issues with accidents. Madison does a phenomenal job training each puppy as well as introducing each puppy to sounds, various animals, car rides, situations, kids, and adults. Gus has no fear and unlike our previous Pyrs, he has not had any issue with resource guarding or aloofness or aggression with new adults or new dogs. We are so thankful for Madison and the love, care, time and resources she puts into not only breeding but truly building up pups that are confident and loving and ready for their new homes. This breed is not for everyone and I appreciate that Madison truly knows how to test the waters with prospective buyers to ensure that each dog she re-homes is given a lifelong, loving place. We look forward to using Madison and Blackmore Farms when we are ready to add another addition to our Great Pyrenees family.

Madison was so responsive and so knowledgeable about the breed. I felt so confident that I made the right decision with contacting her from start to finish. She gave alot of of updates with videos and pictures which was amazing because we got to fall in love with all stages of his growth and felt like we knew him already. We took a 10 hour round trip road trip with our 2 toddlers and they made us feel so special and welcome. I really appreciate all the care and effort I seen her take with our new baby. He is a wonderful, smart, talented puppy. At 18 weeks he weighs nearly 50lb and is just growing bigger and bigger everyday. He is a huge lover, if he could be loved on 24/7 he would. He is fully potty trained(except sometimes when it's raining) and let's himself out since we have a dog door. He knows a couple different commands and learned them very quickly after being introduced (sit,stay,lay down,shake) He is great with my kids and any other ones that come over, he is getting so big so fast and I don't think he even realizes it he thinks he can be a comfy little lap dog. We did get him with the intention of being a working dog to take care of our animals, he does watch over the chickens very well but we are working on him chasing them sometimes when he's felling playful, he has never hurt any of them. I can tell that when he gets older and grows out of his puppy stuff he will be a wonderful guardian. Overall he has a beautiful personality and we just love him dearly.
