I'm TIM S., the breeder behind Blacktail Trail Vizslas located in Port Angeles, WA. We have owned Vizslas dogs for over 51 years. Our 3 kids (who grew up with Vizslas), their spouses and 12 grandchildren love the breed.

Why did you start breeding?
After 40 years of owning Vizslas, the love and experience with our dogs gave us the desire to breed exceptional Vizslas. We have provided hundreds of families with their best friend and snuggle buddies.What makes your program special?
Our love for our puppies from birth to their forever families and our socialization program makes for puppies with confidence and loving personalities.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
Getting a puppy from TIM
TIM has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 deposit and $1,500 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes: 1 year health guarantee, AKC registration, well puppy vet. checkup which includes the first vaccination and deworming socialization. The deposit is refundable until we have a puppy for you.”

TIM may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
