I'm Myranda K., the breeder behind Blazing Ridge Working Dogs located in Uniontown, PA. Producing quality Golden Retrievers and German Shorthaired Pointers. All breeding dogs are tested to CHIC and breed club standards and titled in several venues and sports. Our dogs are excellent sporting dogs who focus on upland hunting and make excellent house dogs.

Getting a puppy from Myranda
Myranda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $4,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“The price includes health guarantee, triple club registration, socialization protocol, & lifetime breeder support. All of our puppies are the same price regardless of color or gender and placed based on temperament. Once the deposit is placed you are added to the waitlist for the pairing of your choosing. You can move to another pairing or future litter at no extra fee.”

About Blaze
Blaze is a versatile and active hunting dog. Bred for field trialing, he excels as a bird dog with natural backs and a stunning strong point. He is a NUCS Champion and more than halfway to his UFTA CH. He also has numerous 1st and 2nd place wins in NUCS, UFTA, and other upland pointing competitions. Blaze loves to pheasant hunt but has also been on quail, chukar, and woodcock. In his free time, Blaze loves to play frisbee and snuggle on the couch. He also has his AKC Pointing Breed Water Certificate, FITB title, BCAT, and will be starting to compete in agility this summer.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
