MaryBeth P.

Breeder of American Bullies

Meet the breeder

I'm MaryBeth P., the breeder behind Blue Moon Bullies located in Elsberry, MO. We are striving to better the breed, not to just add to it,we breed for health, conformation, and versatility. We want dogs that fit the standard and are able to be happy healthy active members of the family laying on the couch, in the woods or being shown in the ring.

Q. & A. with MaryBeth

  • Why did you start breeding?

I met and fell in love with an American bully about 10 years ago and started looking into the breed and seen there were so few breeders who health tested and I wanted to change that. If you google "American Bully" you get such a wide range of looks. I'm hoping to breed to the standard and have a more uniform look.
  • What makes your program special?

My dogs are pets first. They are bred to meet the standard. They are health tested, well-loved and cared for members of the family. I want new owners to know exactly what they are getting and it is not a guess of what the dog will be like, how the health will be, etc. I put my heart and soul into my dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.
