I'm Vicki H., the breeder behind Blue Moon Dalmatians located in Pikeville, KY. A mother-daughter ran small breeding program of healthy, happy Dalmatians. Our dogs are companions and pets first and foremost. Puppies will be BAER tested, microchipped and have all age appropriate worming/vaccinations.
Q. & A. with Vicki
Why did you start breeding?
We started breeding Dalmatians 10 years ago but have taken a hiatus for the past 8. My daughter and I decided to go in together to start an even better breeding program in 2022, breeding our new bloodline female to a male whose bloodline is from two of our original dogs. We both love Dalmatians and raising happy, healthy and beautiful puppies.
What makes your program special?
Puppies are limited AKC, will be BAER tested, microchipped and have all age appropriate worming/vaccinations. They will also come with a leash & collar. Puppies will be exposed to many sights, sounds and people before leaving. Puppies are raised indoors and in the "Pup Hut", an insulated building with heat and aircon. The building comes with access to outdoors via a dog door for potty training.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.
