I'm Texas Eddie D., the breeder behind BlueAire located in Corryton, TN. Many of our puppies have become exceptional show dogs, and all of them have become excellent family dogs and lifelong friends. Our program has produced excellent show ring and performance dogs, but we’re equally proud of all the dogs that we’ve placed in loving homes as family companions.

Why did you start breeding?
My first Kerry Blue was a male. So with that, I had used him for stud to a few long-time breeders of our beloved breed.What makes your program special?
As with many breeders, we all have what we consider the best of our own breed, and none of us are wrong! We all love the breed and want to continue its diverse genetic diversity. My breeding program goes back to two long lines in our breed that I love. The Aran line is based out of Italy and the Torum line is based out of England. All of my dogs go back to these two kennels.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Hip Dysplasia (rDVM, not registered), Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
DNA Disease Panel, Degenerative Myelopathy (DM; SOD1A), von Willebrand Disease I (vWD I), Factor XI Deficiency
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
