I'm Emily B., the breeder behind Bravo Chihuahuas located in Kansas City, MO. AKC preservation breeder & exhibitor of Smooth & Long Coat Chihuahuas. RVT since 2006, focused on health, temperament, quality, soundness, and raising happy, well-socialized puppies for loving homes. Small program, carefully planned litters, and a lifelong commitment to every puppy and family.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    In 2008, I took a chance on a dream and got my first show dog. I’ve learned, grown, made mistakes, and even failed along the way, but I wouldn’t change a thing. What started as a dream has become a lifelong passion, bringing wonderful dogs, friendships, and experiences into my life.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am dedicated to breeding healthy, sound, and well-structured Chihuahuas from health-tested parents and exceptional champion bloodlines from around the world. Every breeding is carefully planned with an emphasis on health, temperament, structure, and preserving the qualities that make the Chihuahua such a wonderful breed.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include sable spotted white, cream, fawn, white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Emily

After buyers complete the application and screening process, Emily partners with them to find the best puppy match.

Puppy prices include a $1,000 non-refundable deposit and between $2,200 - $8,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
