I'm Emily B., the breeder behind Bravo Chihuahuas located in Kansas City, MO. My name is Emily Buller, I am a small exhibitor and Preservation Breeder of Smooth and Long coat Chihuahuas. I am located in the Kansas City area. I breed to the AKC standard, with an emphasis on health and temperament. I only breed AKC Chihuahuas and only have a few litters yearly. All of my breeding dogs are health tested and receive CHIC certification. My dogs are a huge part of my family and live in the house with my husband and myself. I received my AKC Breeder of Merit in January 2019. ​.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I always wanted to show dogs, I just went for it and learned as I went. I have met some of the most wonderful people through my dogs. Fellow exhibitors and puppy buyers who have become very dear friends.
  • What makes your program special?

    I breed healthy sturdy dogs that are very well social.
  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include cream, fawn, white, and black and tan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

  • Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)

    Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.

  • Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.
