Shannon has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready, reach out to ask about the puppies or anything else on your mind. You’ll get to know each other through messaging, phone, or video and pay securely, all on Good Dog.
Shannon partners with buyers to find the best match as the puppies develop and their personalities take shape. Typically, matches are finalized when the puppies reach about 8 weeks old.
“We select among available puppies according to your spot on the deposit reservation list and your preferences once testing results are available and assessments have been made around 7 - 8 weeks old. This makes sure I am providing you with the healthiest option available and not locking you into a dog that didn't pass health testing and allowing you choose your preferred dog after all results are in. If I took the deposit for a specific puppy and that pup wasn't a good fit you might not have the option to choose another if they were all spoken for, this way you keep your spot in the litter or you can wait for an upcoming litter if you prefer.”

“AKC/DNA/OFA shih tzu. DNA/OFA dalmatians. Potty training to turf, litter pan, brilliant pad, or outside if dalmatian. Preregistered microchip. Veterinary exam, deworming and vaccinations. The deposit is non-refundable. It secures your place on the reservation list. If after 6 months I don't have a dog that matches your preferences of breed and sex I will refund your deposit.”
Shannon may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase. If Shannon offers a contract or guarantee, the details will be personalized by them. If you have any questions or want to know more, don't hesitate to reach out to Shannon directly.
When you pay and communicate on Good Dog, you’re covered by Payment Protection.
You can drive or fly to pick up your puppy from Shannon.

Shannon made our first experience dining a puppy a compete joy. She answered all my questions promptly, and her patience, and attention to detail made me feel confident that this was a perfect fit. The puppy arrived precisely on schedule, exactly as described, and in *pristine* condition. She is happy, healthy, mostly housebroken and apparently crate trained, which may be a coincidence… but I’m confident Shannon was working with the litter to ensure the puppies’ transition was as seamless as possible. The care package she sent along with the puppy was comprehensive and even contained an excellent Dalmatian book, consequently promoting literacy for my children ;). The puppy is perfect and I already want to bring another one home from the next litter. :) Ms Pink is now our little Truvy, named for Dolly Parton’s character in Steel Magnolias… Truvy’s Beauty Spot. Thank you to Shannon and family!

I had been searching the Internet for a Shih Tzu puppy for nearly a year when I hit upon Good Dog and Shannon. I wanted to be sure that my future pet was healthy, well-socialized and from a reputable breeder. Shannon is a knowledgeable breeder who gives her mom and pups the best possible environment and care. When it came to selecting a puppy, she provided the information I needed to make the perfect match and went out of her way to make a seamless transition for me and for “Eva.” Now we are home, and Eva’s outgoing and happy nature as well as her robust good health have me in stitches much of the day: hence her new name, Stitch. I’m so thankful to Shannon and Mountain Pass Barn for my adorable new fur baby.
