Q. & A. with Dan
Why did you start breeding?
Breeding and improvement has always been a fascination and obsession in Dan. He is always considering how to improve function, appearance, and disposition or production in dogs, cattle, or whatever else he gets into.
What makes your program special?
We aren’t intending to make as many possible puppies. We think through and plan litters to make dogs that excel as companions and field dogs. We truly strive to produce better dogs in every generation. This is not something to be taken lightly. We do start dogs that do not make it into our breeding program. We do things right and do what we can to help buyers regardless of age of the puppy.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include chestnut and gray and brown and gray. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Jade, mom
Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
About Jade
Jade has been a stand out from day 1. She is a really nice dog with a medium to close range and a super desire to please. She has a natural back and retrieve. Her coat is what I would label as ideal. Medium harsh and dense.
Hooch, dad
Wirehaired Pointing Griffon
About Hooch
Hooch is a fun, best friend kind of dog. He loves hanging out with his humans and will go anywhere with you. From Tractor to UTV to the field, he is there to ‘bro’. In the field he is a methodical worker and as he has developed runs bigger and bigger and his retrieves become more impressive. He handles his birds honestly and doesn’t do too much false pointing.
