I'm Brooke W., the breeder behind Brooke Wood's Boerboel and American Staffordshire Terriers located in Elizabeth City, NC. We breed and show our dogs out of a love for and dedication to the protection and betterment of the breed. We enjoy showing our dogs, and they are our companions in every adventure. We are invested in helping this breed thrive. We do all that we can to give our puppies the best lives, including proper health care, thorough socialization, and finding them each wonderful, loving homes.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Boerboel puppies are red. American Staffordshire Terrier puppies are fawn. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Price

Puppy prices include a $200 non-refundable deposit and between $1,300 - $2,800 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“The price depends on which breed and includes AKC limited registration, UKC registration if available, 1-2 sets of shots depending on age of puppy, and deworming. Remember that deposits do not guarantee the pick of your choice. Final picks are not made until 8wks and puppies will be placed according to the prospects of each puppy and the type of home it will be placed.”

This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.   • Hip Dysplasia

    Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
