I rescued a coonhound as a child, & I knew when I got older that I wanted a farm full of them I traveled all the way to Texas for my females all the way to Montana for my male. Their from lines of hunting, The females are trained to hunt raccoons. My male is trained to hunt bear and mountain lions.

Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
