Why did you start breeding?
Harper’s exceptional temperament, natural bird drive, and outstanding health made her the perfect candidate for one thoughtfully planned litter. With complete DNA and OFA health testing and a carefully selected stud, our goal was to produce healthy, confident family companions with the same wonderful qualities. We are keeping a female from the litter in hopes we get another terrific GSP!What makes your program special?
We were very intentional in choosing our stud, with the goal of preserving and building upon the wonderful temperament we love so much in Harper. After two years of research & searching we found Sandor. From the very beginning, we have been equally intentional in how we raised this litter. Each puppy participated in ENS and ESI, and they have been handled & socialized with our family from day one.What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include liver and white, liver roan, black roan, and black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

About Harper
Harper’s temperament for a GSP is superb. She loves her exercise but also loves a nap on the couch with us. We were thrilled to find a similarly “chill” GSP to breed her with. She is AKC registered, CHIC certified, and has completed all recommended health clearances.

Hip Dysplasia
Hip testing reduces the chance of passing down hip dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause hip pain and the eventual loss of the function of the hip joint.
Elbow Dysplasia Finals (OFA, BVA, SV, FCI)
Elbow testing reduces the chance of passing down elbow dysplasia, which is primarily found in large breed dogs and can cause arthritis in the elbow joint and front leg lameness.
Eye Certification (CAER, registered with OFA)
Eye testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide range of hereditary eye illnesses including retinal dysplasia, lens luxation, and glaucoma, which can cause impared vision or blindness.
Cardiac Evaluation (registered with OFA)
Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.
Vet Wellness Exam
A breeder may perform additional tests on their dogs that do not fall into these general categories. These tests may be more uncommon or very specific to a particular breed.
DNA Disease Panel, Cone Degeneration, German Shorthaired Pointer Type
Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
