I'm Renee B., the breeder behind California Dreaming located in Roseville, CA. My dogs are proven champions in the ring and in the hearts of their forever families. I take pride in my program and love my pups. I have been an active member of various clubs since the '90s. I strive to produce quality puppies for families that are structurally sound, healthy, intuitive and have wonderful temperaments.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    My vet handed me a magazine and I contacted one of the breeders who had a puppy advertisement. They were my mentors and hooked me up with a professional Dane handler. This started my breeding journey and I have never looked back! We are downsizing our Dane program, but still member of Dane clubs & will refer to reputable breeders.

  • What makes your program special?

    I am a preservation breeder striving for quality, health, and to ensure the future of the Great Dane and Pembroke Welsh Corgi for generations to come. My ultimate goal is to produce athletic and well-structured canines that can excel within various performance venues and have the ability to be the greatest family companions. I love what I do and truly want the very best for my puppies and their forever families.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Chihuahua puppies include long and smooth coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our Great Dane puppies include fawn and black. Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies include red, sable, black and tan, and white and red. Chihuahua puppies include cream, fawn, red, black and tan, and red and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Renee

Price

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $2,000 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

"The price includes AKC pre-registered papers. 1st vaccine & deworming. Deposits are made after homes have been approved to purchase a puppy. Must send contact info so I can send my personal puppy application."

    Heart testing reduces the chance of passing down congenital heart disease, which can cause a range of symptoms ranging from trouble exercising to heart failure.

  • GenSol Diagnostics DNA Testing, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
