Q. & A. with Diane
Why did you start breeding?
We were delighted when we were introduced to our first German Wirehaired Pointer, Emma. Since then, we quickly acquired other members into our pack. Our dogs were incredible show prospects and we enjoyed excelling in various different venues with them. Since then, Wirehairs have been an integral part of our lives. We love them so much that we strive to do our part to better the breed by producing quality puppies that are excellent representations of their standards and provide them a wonderful life with wonderful families.
What makes your program special?
We are premier breeders of German Wirehaired Pointers. We do not breed our dogs unless they are fully healthy as prescribed by the GWPCA Code of Ethics and the Canine Health Information Center. While we focus on producing puppies of solid structure, movement, correct coat, and hunting instincts, you can often find our dogs out in the show ring AND in the field. However, we believe that the most important aspect in our program has always been to produce puppies of sound and happy temperament. We have many years of experience with this breed and are passionate about sharing our knowledge and guidance with anyone looking to bring home one of these outstanding dogs!
