I'm Connie C., the breeder behind Carlson Vizslas located in Plymouth, MN. The loyalty and loving disposition of this breed are simply the best! We put a great deal of effort into raising our litters to ensure our puppy families will have the best experience raising their new family members.
Q. & A. with Connie
Why did you start breeding?
With the loss of our beloved first Vizsla Remington, we decided to never be without a Vizsla in the family again. We researched, talked to other responsible breeders and followed their experienced guidance to enhance this wonderful breed with care.
What makes your program special?
We are not a kennel. Our Vizslas are family. They live in the home with us and work and play by our sides. They take us for walks, hunting the trails on our property and snuggle up for movies. We have full time jobs- the pups are for the joy of sharing this beautiful breed.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are golden rust. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

We cannot say enough about Connie and Carlson Vizslas! This was our first experience working with a breeder; we previously have gotten all of our dogs from shelters or otherwise rescued them. Connie was so patient and helpful explaining the process and what to look for, and she even made arrangements to bring our puppy to us, saving me a day-long drive. Setting aside that I am undoubtedly too old for all of his energy, our new puppy is wonderful and every day we love him more. I have already recommended Connie and Carlson Vizslas to friends and family who also fell in love with our puppy over the holidays. Connie's approach to breeding her amazing dogs reflects her love and care for them and I think it makes their puppies that much more special. We are so grateful to have found Carlson Vizslas!
