I'm Jill B., the breeder behind Carolina Lagotto located in North Augusta, SC. We are committed to the health, temperament and lifelong well being of every puppy we place. We raise our puppies with love, intention, and science backed socialization through the Puppy Culture program. Each puppy is raised in our home as part of our family-with lots of snuggles, early learning and a strong start for lifelong success.
Q. & A. with Jill
Why did you start breeding?
In 2020, I began breeding alongside my friend and neighbor at Southern Lagotto. We raised two litters together before retiring her dam. I learned so much from that hands-on experience and I am incredibly grateful for it. This year, I felt ready to continue the journey on my own with a carefully planned litter at Carolina Lagotto.
What makes your program special?
At Carolina Lagotto, we raise puppies in our home with love, intention and the Puppy Culture program. As a small scale breeder, each puppy gets personal attention, early socialization and a strong start in life. Our dogs are fully health tested, and we're committed to placing puppies in well-matched, loving homes.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include off-white and brown roan. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.

Working with Jill was an absolute dream! My wife and I went into this process feeling pretty nervous, but Jill made everything easy, lighthearted, and even fun. She kept us updated every step of the way, sending frequent photos of our little girl as she got ready to come home. We always knew how she was doing—whether it was her first shots, microchip, or other important milestones.
I truly can’t recommend Carolina Lagotto highly enough. We are completely in love with our sweet Emily. Thank you so much, Jill and Mark, for making this experience so special!
