I'm Melinda H., the breeder behind Cedar Spring Boerboels located in Oak Ridge, MO. We focus on breeding healthy, happy, well-rounded Boerboels for your family. We have been breeding only Boerboels for more than 23 years. Our goal is to produce historically correct Boerboels that are temperamentally sound, athletic, and healthy. Why did you start breeding?
I started breeding dogs in the mid-1980s. I started with Beagles and it became a passion after I saw the joy on a new owner's face when they got the puppy they had always wanted. I began to make my customers part of my family and soon I had a huge family that encompassed people from all walks of life and countries. I knew this is what I was meant to do.What makes your program special?
Our breeding program is special because I work toward breeding the best possible dog using the historically correct dogs.Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and guardian homes.

Getting a puppy from Melinda
Melinda has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.
Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.
Price
Puppy prices include a $2,000 non-refundable deposit and $2,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.
“Included with your puppy are the 2-year health guarantee, microchipping, registration, and customer support for the life of your dog. I don't take deposits until the puppies are 10 days old and have been vetted to make sure all are healthy.”

Melinda may provide a written contract or health guarantee when you purchase a puppy. This helps protect both you and your breeder, ensuring that you both have a clear understanding of the terms of your puppy purchase.
