I'm Jill D., the breeder behind Celestial Fyre Dalmatians located in West Lafayette, IN. Our dogs are raised in the home environment and are members of our family. All of our Dalmatians are health tested for hips, thyroid, hearing, and eyes prior to breeding. While our primary objective is to produce high quality pets, occasionally, breeding stock and show prospects will be available to approved breeders/handlers that have a history and commitment to health testing and on contract to health test prior to breeding.
Q. & A. with Jill
Why did you start breeding?
I purchased a LUA male as a pet from a great breeder 3 years ago. She inspired me to continue her lines and participate in the LUA movement.
What makes your program special?
I pride myself in setting up my puppies for an easy transition and success. I start them on crate training and potty training prior to going to new homes. They are socialized with cats, children, and horses. They are exposed to most of what they will encounter in life. Starting puppies right is instrumental in them fitting into their new families.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies include white and liver brown and white and black. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home and a kennel on my property.
