I'm Christine T., the breeder behind Charly's Angels Portuguese Water Dogs located in Brentwood, NH. I have had many dogs in my lifetime and view Portuguese Water Dogs to have the most desirable traits – intelligence, trainability, playfulness and being happy. They are also hypoallergenic (no shedding). They are simply great dogs and all puppies are raised in our family home.
Q. & A. with Christine
Why did you start breeding?
The Portuguese Water Dog has a special history and all the great traits you would want in a dog. I want to provide a select few companions to people who see the great traits that I see in the breed.
What makes your program special?
Portuguese Water Dogs have the most desirable traits – intelligence, trainability, playfulness and being happy. They are also hypoallergenic (no shedding). They are simply great dogs and all puppies are raised in our family home.
I contribute to the vitality of Portuguese Water Dogs by following strict ethics in breeding. This entails following specific standards to ensure the health, temperament, and genetic diversity that produces puppies that are physically and mentally healthy.
This way you can have confidence in the health and temperament of the puppy you are acquiring while supporting the continued improvement of the breed.
What are the different breed coat colors in your program?
Our puppies are black and white. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.
Where do your breeding dogs live?
They live in my home.
