I'm Deedra J., the breeder behind Chilove Chihuahuas located in Hampton, VA. We live in Hampton, Va, we offer ground/air shipment with our puppies. We are now accepting deposits of $500 to be on our waiting list, for serious buyers. The order of the deposits determines the order of selecting the puppies. Mom/Dads are Dna/health tested. Our program is sound and healthy.

  • Why did you start breeding?

    I started with a pet chihuahua Greta and her mate P-nut. The feeling of creating life and raising it to be able to go into someone's home to become a family member is immeasurable. There is no other joy to me than making that perfect match of a puppy with a new family. I also provide lifetime breeder support. What that means is at any time if you have a question you can call me.

  • What makes your program special?

    My program is special because I start with healthy parents and plan my litters based on my DNA testing for traits and disease. I also research the pedigree to see what is in my dogs lineage.

  • What are the different breed coat types in your program?

    Our puppies include smooth and long coat varieties. Coat types may vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • What are the different breed coat colors in your program?

    Our puppies include chocolate, cream, fawn, blue, blue fawn, chocolate sabled fawn, and blue merle. Colors will vary depending on the parent dogs.

  • Where do your breeding dogs live?

    They live in my home.

Getting a puppy from Deedra

Deedra has been certified by Good Dog’s screening team for responsible and trusted breeding practices. When you’re ready to reach out, feel free to ask any questions about the breed, their program, or specific puppies.

Together, you’ll choose the puppy that’s right for you, stay in touch with regular updates, and plan how to bring your new puppy home.

Puppy prices include a $500 non-refundable deposit and between $1,500 - $3,000 final payment, before taxes & fees.

“Prices vary. AKC or CKC registration paperwork, 1st shot, dewormed every 2 wks and vet examination. We also give our customers a one yr health guarantee. Mom and Dads DNA health tested and cleared. Deposit is non-refundable unless the puppy dies in my care, and I am unable to provide a new puppy within 90 days.”

  • Patellar Luxation

    Knee testing reduces the chance of passing down Patellar Luxation, which results in the kneecap becoming displaced or dislocated and can cause mild to severe joint pain.

  • Wisdom Panel, Full Embark Panel, DNA Disease Panel

    Genetic testing reduces the chance of passing down a wide variety of hereditary diseases of differing prevalence and severity such as Progressive Retinal Atrophy (an eye disease) and Von Willebrand's Disease (a blood disease).
